Got room for one more project?Find out in 10 seconds.
Crow's Nest connects to the time tracker you already use and shows you, in 10 seconds, whether you can take on more work. Built on what you billed, not what you hoped.
Sound familiar?
Without knowing your true availability, every "yes" is a gamble. And you keep losing.
Another client emails asking for "just 10 more hours." You say yes. By Wednesday, you're drowning.
You built a capacity tracker. It worked for two weeks. Now it's a graveyard of good intentions.
You know where your hours went. You have no idea how many hours you have left.
What changes when you can see your week before it happens
I said yes, then realized I shouldn't have, then sacrificed sleep to honor it.
I checked in 10 seconds, said yes confidently, delivered without burning out.
I can't stop thinking about work.
I closed the laptop knowing what tomorrow looks like.
No spreadsheets. No guessing. No double-entry.
Just clarity.

Frequently Asked Questions
I already use a time tracker. Why do I need this?
Time trackers are great for tracking where your time went. Crow's Nest shows you where your time should go, and whether you have any left. It's the planning layer your tracker doesn't have.
Why can't I just use Notion / Trello / Excel?
Honestly? You probably can, and many freelancers do. The trade-off is maintenance: every minute spent updating your Notion calendar or spreadsheet is a minute you're not billing. Crow's Nest auto-syncs from your tracker so the data is always current without you touching it. If you enjoy maintaining your system (some people do, and it works), keep going. If you'd rather have it just work, that's what we built.
Why can't I just use ChatGPT?
ChatGPT will produce a schedule. It can't tell you whether you can keep it. ChatGPT is a pattern-matcher, not a math engine, and its projections are guesses based on whatever hours you self-report each time you re-prompt. Crow's Nest syncs from your tracker in the background, so projections are grounded in the hours you actually billed last month, not the ones you hope to bill this week. The honest concession: ChatGPT is conversational, adaptive, and free. That's a different shape of value, and for some people it's enough.
I have a spreadsheet that kind of works...
Spreadsheets work, especially the ones you've tuned to your own workflow. The question isn't whether yours is good, it's whether you want to keep maintaining it. Crow's Nest's pitch is "the spreadsheet you'd build, if you had a few hours per week to maintain it": auto-synced from your tracker, with capacity warnings built in. If your current spreadsheet still serves you, keep it. If you've started a third one this year, we might save you the trouble.
Is this for teams or individuals?
Crow's Nest is designed specifically for solo freelancers, one-person businesses who track their time. There are no team features, and that's intentional. Tools like Float and Resource Guru are great for teams, but they're overkill (and overpriced) if you're working alone. Crow's Nest is right-sized for you.
I prefer paper planners.
Then Crow's Nest probably isn't for you. We considered building a printable export but decided to stay focused on the digital integration with your tracker. If paper is what makes capacity feel real to you, stick with it. No hard feelings: paper planners win at things software doesn't.
Where is my data stored?
Crow's Nest is hosted in the European Union and is fully GDPR compliant. Your data stays in Europe, protected by EU privacy laws. Client and project data, including names and rates, is encrypted at rest in the database, so even in the unlikely event of a breach, your business data remains protected.
What data do you access from my tracker?
Only what's needed for capacity planning: your clients, projects, and time entries. We never access your invoices, payment information, or any financial data. Your billing stays between you and your tracker.
Will it be accurate?
Your actual hours come directly from your tracker in real-time. As you log time there, it appears here. No manual entry, no stale data.
Which trackers do you support?
Harvest and Toggl Track today, with more on the way. We don't require you to switch trackers. We work with what you already use.
Can I use both Harvest and Toggl at the same time?
Not today. Crow's Nest connects to one tracker per account. If you switch from Harvest to Toggl later, you can reconnect. Simultaneous multi-provider is on the roadmap.
Is this another tool I have to maintain?
Nope. Connect your tracker once, and Crow's Nest syncs automatically. Your weekly planning takes about 5 minutes. That's less time than updating a spreadsheet.
Before you say yes to the next project, see if your week has room.
